Dental Fear

What was once a fearful, traumatizing experience can be as easy as going to the store. You no longer have to avoid making that appointment and live in dread until it’s over.

Track One is designed to quickly teach you how to eliminate your  fear of dental work. Track Two  is used in the waiting room; and while the work is being done to relax you, creating a pleasant experience. These tapes also have been known to actually help numb pain sensations through relaxation. This CD can be used with both tracks or the relaxation track to help with surgery operation and other pain related experiences.

Below Aubrey Nye shares her personal experiences.

One in seven people fear going to the dentist's office. It is often thought that this fear is just something they were born with, but this is generally not the case. Since we start going to a dentist at a very young age, we may not remember fear  we experienced. Going to the dentist is a scary experience for most children and, depending on the situation and the person, different fears can be created. If several incidents of an extremely painful nature occur over several years, the  fear continues to worsen.

This was what happened in my case. My old-fashioned dentist didn't believe in using much Novocain and was getting a bit careless in his later years. Needless to say, I didn't have a good time. A series of situations happened which seemed like horror stories a war veteran would tell. The pain I experienced was excruciating and eventually I reached a point where I would shake as I approached his office. While in the chair, my whole body would shake and I would feel that my heart was going to beat through my skin. Afterwards I would have puncture marks on my palms from digging in my nails, and I would be completely exhausted from my incredible anxiety. These symptoms continued even after I began visiting a compassionate and gentle dentist. The fear was so overwhelming I often felt as if I couldn't stay. Due to my nervousness, the doctor would have to use a lot of Novocain because it would wear off quickly.

Since using the processes in these tapes, I have not had any of these symptoms. I experience no dread going to the dentist or while sitting in the chair. For certain procedures, like having a tooth pulled, I will listen to the Relaxation Tape and practically fall asleep. It is such an incredible relief to not have to experience those stressful feelings anymore.

Many people have also experienced wonderful results, including greatly minimized tooth sensitivity and needing reduced amounts of pain medication. One person who wrote to me said that her teeth were in terrible shape but she could not get herself to go to the dentist. After listening to Track One only once, she was able to schedule an appointment and keep it. Others noticed that what was once a very nerve-racking experience became almost pleasant. Those who didn't have a horrible fear but simply found the experience unpleasant found that the Relaxation Tape or CD alone eased the experience.

The following testimonial describes a  personal transformation:

“ I used to have to be completely knocked out. After this I didn’t even need Novocain. It was a very effective way of coming to grips with my history and letting go of that experience. It unlocked the door so I could get to the other side. The technique was easy to follow and most important it was effective for me. I really feel free of feelings I've held onto since I was 5 or 6 years old. Specifically, the "rewind" process seemed to release feelings I had been holding from long ago which were effecting me now. And I saved $200 not having to be put into twilight sedation.”

“ Had to remove an impacted tooth and didn’t feel a thing, tape in chair and at dentist office. ”
– Kim Musumeci
